FAZ MOURNS MIGUEL CHAIWA’S MOTHER

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) is saddened to learn of the death of Mrs Florence Mulenga, the wife of football legend Changa Chaiwa and mother to Switzerland based Chipolopolo star Miguel.

Mrs. Chaiwa died on Tuesday evening at the Maina Soko Military Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

FAZ president Keith Mweemba says the football family stands with the Chaiwa family in their moment of grief.

“On behalf of the Football Association of Zambia and the entire football family, I wish to convey my deepest condolences to the Changa Chaiwa family for their loss,” Mweemba says.
“May the family accept our commiserations and we wish them God’s strength in this dark moment.”
The funeral gathering is in Matero Township with details for the funeral expected to be availed later.
